Dean and Carol are owners and operators of the Haunted Corazon Ghost Tours.
They are also founding members of the Haunted Corazon Psychic and Paranormal Investigations Group.
Carol Blatnick-Barros is also practically a life-long resident of the Trinidad area. Raised in Valdez, Colorado, 13 miles west of Trinidad, she grew up listening to the folk-tales from the native peoples living in the area. She also attended University of Southern Colorado, where she studied Fine art, Theater, and worked for the Social Anthropologist and Dr. of Archeology in the summers as an assistant, field manager, researcher and docent for El Pueblo, Boggsville, and verifying the 1913 U.S. Forest Service maps of the Santa Fe Trail.
Carol was instrumental in the archeological project which took place at Ludlow, Colorado. She also has experience as a docent at the Trinidad History Museum.
F. Dean Sneed has lived in and around Trinidad for most of his fifty + years. A graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of art (now known as the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design); Dean is an illustrator, cartoonist, sculptor and author of numerous books on regional history & folklore. Among his books are “Las Animas County Ghost Towns and Mining Camps,” “Ghost Lights, Strange Tales of Trinidad & Southern Colorado,” and the recently published children’s (?) book: “The Crown of Alabaster.”
